iHOOP SEW

ALISO VIEJO, CALIFORNIA · EST. 2026

MADE SLOWLY.
ON PURPOSE.

01Every blank is selected by hand.

02Every design is digitized in house.

03Every piece is stitched to order.

04Thirty pieces per run. Then the design retires.

01

The Blank

Garments are chosen for weight, drape, and how the fabric accepts a needle. Thread only reads correctly on a base that can carry it.

02

The Hoop

Designs are digitized and stitched on a single machine in Orange County. No screen prints, no heat transfers, no outsourced production.

03

The Run

Editions are capped at thirty pieces and never reissued. Scarcity here is a function of capacity, not marketing.

WHY THREAD

Embroidery is slow, and that is the point. A print is applied in seconds and wears like it. Thread carries weight, texture, and a raised edge that survives fifty washes.

iHOOP SEW is not built for volume. The studio produces fewer pieces, more carefully — resolving a design completely before a single stitch enters fabric.

HOW IT'S MADE

FROM HOOP
TO DOORSTEP

01

Digitize

Each design is mapped stitch by stitch before production begins. Stitch direction, density, and underlay are all set manually.

02

Hoop

The garment is stabilized and tensioned. Tension set incorrectly will pucker the fabric regardless of how precise the file is.

03

Stitch

Production is supervised throughout. Thread breaks, tension shifts, needles dull — none of it is automated away.

04

Finish

Backing trimmed, ends buried, the piece pressed and inspected. Anything that falls short is not shipped.
